Welcome to
Chandrapur Forest Academy of Administration and Management
The academy was established in the year 1961 by the Government of Maharashtra as ‘Vanpal Prashikshak Vidyalaya’ i.e. Training School for Forest Officers. This training school, spread over 28 hectares, played an important role in training newly recruited officers till 1976. It was during this period, that the Central government decided to increase the scope of the institution, as a result, the Central Forest Officers’ College was established in 1976. The institute trained newly recruited forest officers from all the states of India.

Our Facilities
The cfa Academy offers the athlete a wide variety of sports at A-class facilities nearby the campus.
Spread over 45 hectares, with skillfully planned amenities, the academy leads as an example of excellence.
The academy is centrally air-conditioned with a large Seminar Hall, two state-of-the-art Conference Halls.
